Research Interests

My current research are concentrated in area of strongly correlated
f-electron systems. I am working on the both development of relevant
theoretical tools based on the dynamical mean field theory
(DMFT), as well as on their applications to real rare-earth and
actinide based compounds. I participated in development of the
spin-orbit T-matrix and fluctuating exchange approximation (SPTF+SO)
quantum impurity solver and its incorporation into ab initio
band
structure codes. The DMFT technique in conjunction with SPTF+SO solver
was
then applied to study spectral and magnetic properties of a number of
actinide systems: uranium and plutonium monochalcogenides, elemntal
plutonium, Pu and U-based superconductors. My current project is aimed
at investigation of optical properties of correlated rare-eath
compounds.
