Research in the group focuses on the physics of strong correlations in various contexts reaching from
materials with strong electron interactions and their idealized models to cold atomic gases.
We like to refer to all these examples as "Quantum Materials".
We develop new theoretical methods to deal with these systems.
Among those is Dynamical Mean-Field Theory (DMFT) and its extensions,
as well as several other many-body techniques.

Most of the abovementioned techniques require a sizeable numerical effort. The calculations are performed in our
computing facilities.
