Workshop on holographic applications, out-of-equilibrium phenomena, gravity & analogue gravity, Paris Ecole Normale Supérieure, October 29-31 2012

FRAMEWORK & GOALS

In the framework of a collaborative programme supported by the INP of the CNRS on holographic applications, out-of equilibrium phenomena, gravity & analogue gravity, we organize a 3-day workshop in Paris, from October 29 to October 31, 2012. We plan a few 75-min pedagogical talks per day aiming at covering some aspects of the above fields and creating a good synergy among the participants.

PRACTICAL ISSUES

• Location : the meeting will be held in Paris centre, in Ecole Normale Supérieure, Département de Physique, Salle de conférences IV, 24 rue Lhomond 75231 Paris

• Registration : we recommend (even for local participants) to register by e-mail sent to our support staff (Malika Lang malika.lang at cpht.polytechnique.fr ) with your name, affiliation and postal address.
• Housing : we do not provide a housing service – tips and help can be obtained via our support staff though. Ideally, arrival and departure days are October 28 and November 1st. Here are some recommended hotels
