My research interests mainly lie in semiclassical gravity, although I have also been working on certain stringy projects. My main goal has been to pave the way for a better understanding of curvature singularities, like the one inside the Schwarzschild black hole, but also those not covered by a horizon, known as naked singularities. To this end, I have also been studying how quantum effects change the nature of black hole interiors.
