Ecole Polytechnique considers hiring an outstanding scientist in the field of Mathematical Physics, with particular emphasis on statistical physics and quantum field theory. The successful candidate will join the Physics Department and launch an independent research program at the Center for Theoretical Physics (CPHT). A strong commitment to excellence in teaching at all levels is expected.
The position will be filled at the level of tenured Associate Professor or Full Professor, depending on seniority of the candidate. Generous startup funds, as well as administrative support and office space will be provided.
Applicants are kindly asked to submit a CV, a list of publications - with brief comments on the five most significant ones - and a statement of research interests, including a sketch of projects to be developed on campus.
